Founder & President, Woody Woodson, received a degree in Transportation from the Univ. of Tenn. & then managed a manufacturing company for 15 years, where he learned the logistics of exporting.  In 1987, Woody & his family adopted their 3-month old son from Guatemala, & then lived there in 1989 for a year - where he discovered the needs of medical missions.  After returning to the US, Vine International was founded in 1993 to serve medical missions in Guatemala.  Woody continues to manage the overall work of Vine’s Pipeline.  Woody Wooden

With a heart for overseas missions, Bruce White was one of Vine’s first volunteers in 1994 for our overland bus trips through Mexico.  In 1997, he joined Vine International to manage our US Collection Facility in Knoxville.  His work experience with DHL, beginning in 1983, became valued training ground for warehouse inventory management, shipping, & logistics.  Bruce continues to oversee the “north-end” of Vine’s Pipeline.

After 20 years in the US Navy, Dennis Rice & his wife Doris, moved to Guatemala in 1996 to begin & manage a feeding project in Jobompiche, Peten, Guatemala – on Lake Itza.  After 7 years of growing this project & serving in this remote northern jungle region, they accepted the call in 2003 to move to big-city life & manage Vine’s aid distribution in Guatemala.  They continue to develop & oversee the “south-end” of Vine’s Pipeline.  Dennis and Doris Rice
