| Mission Statement
 Vine International is a Christian non-denominational & evangelical nonprofit relief organization serving in Central America by providing medical resources to our brothers & sisters in Christ who serve the poor (Matt. 25:31-46).
We believe one of the best platforms for the gospel is to first meet a physical need in order to earn the right to speak of a deeper spiritual need. We believe both Jesus (Matt. 11:45) & the early church (Gal. 2:10) modeled this.
We believe God’s children have the need to express the Christ-life that indwells them, & serving others is an expression of this Life. We believe that Vine’s work offers a vehicle for that expression both here & there (2 Cor. 4:7-12).
We believe that in order for our work to bear God’s fruit, Jesus painted a simple picture. He is the Vine – we are the branches. The branch abides in the Vine & receives Life, & the manifestation of that Life is bearing His fruit (John 15:1-8).
Statement of Faith
We believe the Bible is the inspired, only infallible, authoritative Word of God.
We believe in one God, existing eternally in 3 persons: the Father & Son & Spirit.
We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ – His virgin birth – His sinless life – His miracles – His vicarious, atoning death through His shed blood – His bodily resurrection – His ascension to the right hand of the Father – & His personal return in glory & power.
We believe the only way of salvation for lost & sinful men is through repentance of sin & faith in Jesus Christ resulting in regeneration by the Holy Spirit.
We believe in the present, indwelling ministry of the Holy Spirit who enables the Christian to live a godly life.
We believe in the resurrection of the saved & the lost – the saved to eternal life – & the lost to eternal separation from God.
We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in Jesus Christ & that all true believers are members of His body, the Church.
We believe evangelism is a responsibility of both the church & each Christian.
